Our Vision

Today’s world is so difficult to navigate. Today more than ever we are surrounded by confusion, rapid change and trying to find what is fabricated from what is truth. We are passionate about this conference as we powerfully address the things effecting men today. It gives us the opportunity to unite men from diverse faiths and to build a broader base of leaders (The Next Men Up) to equip and encourage each other. We begin to reach further and wider than just our Churches or Groups to build an army that brings all the weapons to battle. God’s kingdom is strengthened, and we fight in numbers to save the fallen and wounded. Unity is the key to destruction of barriers. It doesn’t matter what church or group you belong to our goal is to get to the same place. Let’s do this together, Let each of us become the Next Man Up.

DARY NORTHROP

PASTOR/GUESTSPEAKER

Growing up on the Western Slope in Colorado, riding dirt bikes and teasing his sisters, Dary's love for the outdoors, other people, and God were forged.

After seminary and 8 years as a youth pastor, Dary and his young family headed to the other side of the Rockies to lead a church with a 65-year history. That church was the foundation of the current three-campus Timberline Church serving Northern Colorado today.

KARL MECKLENBURG

In 1983, the Denver Broncos drafted Karl Mecklenburg in the 12th round with the 310th pick overall. In spite of his low selection, Mecklenburg went on to become an integral part of the Broncos' Super Bowl teams of the 1980s.

He played in six Pro Bowls. His 79 sacks is the third highest total in franchise history; he is one of only three Broncos with four sacks in a game, and the only one to do so twice.

FORMER DENVER BRONCO

STEVE CHAVEZ

LEAD PASTOR/PRAISE CHURCH

I have served as the Lead Pastor of Pueblo Praise Church for the past 13 years. I also served as the chaplain for the CSU Pueblo Thunderwolves College football team for 13 years. Prior to that, I was the District Youth Director of the Rocky Mountain Ministry Network from 1999 to 2004.

My wife, Bonnie, and I began ministry in 1991 as Youth Pastors at Praise and spoke at youth camps and conventions across the country.
